Morning Sing: June 4, 2020

The 1973 Barbra Streisand song, The Way We Were from the movie The Way We Were is, in my memory, one of the songs from the soundtrack of my high school years. I’m not quite sure why, but I think it was the graduation song we sang my freshman year, and then I just kept singing it. Perhaps because of the chromatic coloration on “watercolor memories”? I know I love to sing that line. It’s funny the things that catch you about a song and what keeps you interested.

Anyway, I hope that today you have some good memories to latch onto in times of distress.

Also, Morning Sing will pause for the next 4 days as I take advantage of a learning opportunity of something I’ve always wanted to do but have been unable to arrange. I’ll be back on June 9th.
