Morning Sing: June 9, 2020

We’re now in the final 5 songs that I pulled out from my grandfather’s sheet music collection. I don’t know where Morning Sing will go from there, but I’ve been having fun, having fun making music and sharing that fun with whoever’s watching. No editing, often just the first take (sometimes more than one, but…), rarely much more than 2-3 minutes practice so that the memories of the song are fully present. These have been the songs of my musical childhood. Thank you for going on this journey with me.

This morning: We’ve Only Just Begun, sung by Karen Carpenter, of The Carpenters. This one I had to record twice, because I only recorded 5 seconds the first time…Reality and honesty! 😊
