Morning Sing: May 5, 2020

Good morning everyone!

As I continue through my journey of music that was influential to me during my high school years, I come to Fascinating Rhythm, first encountered through my grandfather’s playing on the piano and organ (he was a professional theater organist in the Chicagoland area), but which I first sang and fell in love with the visceral sensation of the piece while singing a medley of Gershwin tunes in Indiana All-State Choir.

So, this morning, I turn to the inimitable Gershwins and Fascinating Rhythm. Thank you!
